Welcome to the Raleigh Church of Christ

 Our Goal is to be truly a church “of Christ.” To have the right to wear the name of Christ, it is our hearts’ desire to reproduce His life in all that we do (Acts 4:13). Thus, we do not consider that the church of Christ is a brand among many, but a reminder that the church belongs to Jesus, its Savior and Head (Ephesians 1:22-23).

Our purpose, therefore, is to praise the name of God’s Son with our very lives (Colossians 3:17). Our work is 1) to save the lost by sharing His good news  (Matthew 28:18-20) and 2) to build up and equip the saved for the purpose of carrying His ministry to the entire world (Ephesians 4:11-16).

Our aim is simple:  to be like the church we read about in the New Testament in a world of religious division that grieves God today (John 17:20-23). At the same time, it is our purpose to live always with a spirit of humility that befits a people saved by grace (Luke 18:9-14). We strive for unity on essentials, and on matters of opinion, liberty. In all things, we strive for love.
