Missions
In the late 1990s Project Amacuapa was begun as an outreach to the Valley of Amacuapa in the Department of Olancho in eastern Honduras. The intent was to evangelize the valley. While under heavy Catholic influence, early evangelistic efforts were promissing.
If you only have time to review two of the documents, please click on Amacuapa History and Presentation. Both of these pdf files will provide a substantial amount of information about the origins of Project Amacuapa and what has been accomplished.

A Meeting of the Minds

Jim and Charles meet with Eduardo Torres and Chanito Padilla as they make plans for the garden. Juan Blas Cardona has consented to allow the local congregation to use a plot of land (150’ x 285’) to develop a garden. A fence is being constructed around the garden that is to be irrigated using the newly installed solar powered well system. Eduardo and Chanito will attend a one-week class on gardening and irrigation put on by Healing Hands International in June in San Marcos.
