NEW AGRICULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES

During the March 2006 visit to Honduras. Dr. Jim Green, Dr. Jim Morill an and Dr. Mac Safley scheduled a visit to the Universidad National de Agricultura as well as several progressive livestock enterprises in the Valle de San Pedro Catacamas. Important contacts were made. The group took along Chanito Padilla a member of the Amacuapa Church of Christ who farms land outside of Amacuapa to expose him to new ideas.

Chanito Padilla, Dr. Jim Morrill, Dagoberto Nunez (translator) and David Chacon visit the Universidad National de Agricultura near Catacamas.

Dr. Charles Safley joins the other members of the Agricultural Team in an attempt to define likely projects for improving agricultural practices in the Amacuapa Valley.
