There are 25 seats reserved for the game on Saturday, June 23rdat 6:15 PM. The tickets will be $7.50 each (children under 3 are free). If we cannot get 25 people, the tickets will be $10 each. Please give the money for the tickets to either Ernest Campbell or Misty Hunter. There will be an umbrella give away at this game.

There will be a pre-service singing on Sunday, May 20th, starting at 5:30 PM.  Come learn new songs and practice old ones!

Bring the family to Pullen Park on Saturday, May 19th, for an evening of fun, fellowship, & food. Shelter #6 has been reserved for our group from 4-7pm. Hotdogs & drinks will be provided. Please bring a side and dessert to share. We will plan on eating @ 5:30pm. Questions, please see the Demicks.

Our first event is scheduled for Sunday, May 20th, following morning worship. We will meet at the Crossroads Golden Corral for lunch at 12:30. The cost is $12.50 all inclusive. If you did not receive an email notice of the event it’s because either you haven’t asked to be on the list of those wishing to be notified of scheduled events or you do not have an email address. If you would like to be added to the list, please let Bob Platt know and, of course, you are welcome to attend this lunch at the Golden Corral.

The next elder, deacon, ministry leader meeting is scheduled for June 24 at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall.

A marriage and family seminar featuring Jerry and Lynn Jones will be offered in the area May 13-16. See the flyer on the Family Life bulletin board for details.

Bro. Mark Cremeans (DRT Director), who worked with the churches in our area after the tornadoes last April, contacted us requesting financial assistance to purchase a badly needed replacement truck for their ministry. Since leaving here, they’ve assisted in the aftermath of last year’s tornadoes in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Joplin, Missouri, as well as recently in Alabama. If you can help support this great work, please contact Bill Yinger.  Contributions of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

It’s that time again! We need to get all STAFF applications in for week 7 ASAP so that we know where we may need to fill in. The dates for week 7 are July 22nd to 28th. Applications are available @ www.carolinabiblecamp.com.  We are in need of a camp nurse for this week; so if you are a nurse, please consider volunteering for week 7. All campers need to have their applications in no later than June 1st to avoid a late registration fee. If you are able to contribute to the scholarship fund to help a camper attend, please see Bill Yinger.
