Apr 04, 2921 — Elisha Freeman — Edgar Allan Poe’s poem “The Raven” ends with the author acknowledging the futility of the loss and the realization of hopelessness. Many of us know this feeling and reality very well as we battle hopelessness as a constant companion. The resurrection of Jesus reminds us that while the believer battles hopelessness there is not such thing as having no hope. Easter is about the revival of hope.
