May 8, 2022 — Elisha Freeman Today is the day to celebrate and honor mothers. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and women in general do so much for our lives. This morning, we will read and study from an encounter that Jesus has with an unnamed woman whose faith is life-changing and motivates us to seek the same faith.

Apr 11, 2021 — Elisha Freeman — the Bible emphasizes the importance of faith in the life of a Christian in Hebrews 11:6. However, faith is not designed to be stagnant. Faith is to grow and it is to act. In the first lesson of our new sermon series, we turn our attention to the book of James and are challenged to by him to move our faith from a place of stationary to a place of action.
03/29/2020 – Elisha Freeman – Our lives have been turned upside down with the Corona Virus. Many of us are fearful, worried, and frustrated. In Luke 1:26ff we will read of Mary, the mother of Jesus, have her world turned upside down. It is how the Angel Gabriel responds that catches our attention. It is here that we learn that we don’t have to be afraid, that nothing is impossible with God, and that despite what is happening we can still serve.

As we continue our quest of building an Unwavering Faith, our attention turns to Jesus and what He says about faith. This morning Jesus will remind us that if we have faith “nothing is beyond the power of God through Jesus”. Also Jesus will tell us that an unwavering faith is not equal to a perfect faith.
