O My Soul: Getting Healthy

Mar 05, 2023  Elisha Freeman — The term ‘soul’ is found 271 times in our English Bibles. The soul is the most valuable and precious gift given by God to a human being in this life. Yet, how many of us this morning would say our soul is good? Healthy? In good condition? Truth is that many would admit that it is not well with my soul. This morning we launch our March sermon series with a focus on our souls and getting healthy.

We Agree on One Word

Oct 02, 2022  Elisha Freeman — This morning we embark on a three month series that is entitled ‘We Agree”. Unity among Christians in the local church is essential and vital. Unity was of such great importance that in John 17, Jesus prays for it. What exactly are we to have unity on? On what things must we agree? This morning we start the journey by focusing on God’s word that is known as the Bible.

The Power of Oneness

Mar 07,  2021 — Elisha Freeman — Christians everywhere in our country are at a crossroads. Our church is no different. The crossroads is that we can choose to allow the events (i.e. Covid, Masks, Social Distancing, the Election, Politics, and others) to shape our hearts and our attitudes and make us cold, cynical, uncooperative, create division, etc or we will can choose to have a heart that focused on Jesus, the way He lives, the love, peace, unity that is promoted. This morning we will focus on these and be challenged to have a heart and attitude that promotes the way of God in our church and in our life.

Clothed with Christ

Oct 25, 2020 – Elisha Freeman — We have reached the last lesson in our unconventional series on the 2020 election. A reality that has bothered us this year and the election has stirred into a greater frenzy is the lack of harmony that is present. What can Christians do with the lack of harmony? How can we help restore it? We seek to answer these questions and more in our lesson this morning.
