RCC Mother’s Day 2024

May 12, 2024   Elisha Freeman — Today, we remember and honor all the women that have impacted our lives. They were/are our biological mothers, grandmothers, aunts, teacher, or  Sunday school teacher. If Jesus were here with us, what would He say to the women of our congregation? To wives and mothers? This morning we will listen and learn from our Lord as He answers these questions.

Jesus: The Eternal One

Jan 21, 2024  Elisha Freeman — Who is Jesus? A question that had to be answered in Jesus’ day and needs to be answered in our day. Is He just a great moral and ethical teacher, a religious guru who had some good things to say, or is Jesus more? He and the writers of the Gospel’s will answer that Jesus is more; in fact Jesus is God! This morning we are going back to one of these writers and see why these claims were made and how they help us answer our question.

Father’s Day 2021

Jun 20, 2021 — The Apostle Paul spent roughly two weeks with the Thessalonian church in Acts 17. In that short time he worked hard to share the Gospel and lay a foundation for growth and maturity. To aid him in that, Paul took on the role of a ‘Father’ and treated the Thessalonians as children . This morning we will see three actions, Paul employed to help the Thessalonian Christians in their spiritual journey.

Growing Up

Jun 06, 2021 Adam Gifford — We have reached the last lesson in our series entitled “DNA: The Core of the Local Church”. Colossians 3:14 tells us “that above all” we are to put on love. Love is supreme but it is not the only aspect of the Christian life we are to live. This mopping the Apostle Paul reminds us that we are to have a heavenly mindset, have hearts ruled by the peace of Christ, and to take in the Word of Christ to the point where it overflows.

Salt & Light Living-Influence

December 23, 2018 – Elisha Freeman.

Lloyd John Ogilvie once said, ‘The thing we fear most is having lived our lives pleasantly, but to have made no measurable difference whatever.” Jesus tells us that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world and if these two truth could be summed up in one word it would this: Influence. This morning we are going to learn the power of influence and that if 2019 is going to be different it is because we use our influence for good.
