Jul 02, 2023 Elisha Freeman — Our church theme this year is ‘Living the word’. the Bible condenses this theme into one word: faithful. We are to be faithful no matter where we are or where life takes us. Is it possible to be faithful? May 07, 2023 Elisha Freeman — Maya Angelou once said, ‘Most people don’t grow up, most people age. They find parking spaces, honor their credit cards, get married, have children, and call that maturity. What that is, is aging.’ God’s plan for the disciple of Jesus is grow and too mature. The same plan exists for a local church. Yet, why do many of us age in the faith but not mature? Our passage this morning provides us a warning in staying immature as well as offers ways for us to fulfill God’s expectation of growth.

What is needed to ensure that this year can be the most productive year possible? These questions and more will be our focus during the sermon this morning.

Unity was of such great importance that in John 17, Jesus prays for it. What exactly are we to have unity on? On what things must we agree? This morning we start the journey by focusing on God’s word that is known as the Bible.
May 01, 2022 — Elisha Freeman Jesus’ kingdom on this earth has been fully established with His resurrection, the arrival of the Holy Spirit in Acts 1-2, and the preaching of the Gospel that led to 3000 being baptized. Jan 02, 2022 — Elisha Freeman The New Year has arrived and we are full of optimism, hope, and resolutions. We are eager to start fresh, learning from the past and moving into the future. When it comes to our spiritual lives, what can we learn from the beginnings of Jesus’ ministry so that we can start strong and finish strong? This is the question we seek to answer with our lesson this morning.
