Apr 17, 2022 Elisha Freeman — It has been at least two weeks since Jesus has been resurrected and Peter has not had an opportunity to speak with him. Does this mean Jesus is done with Peter? Can Peter return from his denial of Jesus when he was arrested? Does this mean the things that Jesus promised Peter in Matthew 16:15-18 are now going to someone else? Is there any hope for Peter? This morning we will read through the third resurrection appearance to answer our questions.

This morning we are going to examine just one of these and how the attitude of one specific group is an attitude that we cannot afford to have when it comes to Jesus and His message.

This description is powerful picture of the role of Jesus prior to His birth, at His birth, and for the rest of time. This description also begs the question, what kind of King is Jesus? This morning we will seek to answer this question and how we can follow in His footsteps.
