Thanksgiving 2022

Nov 20, 2022 — Elisha Freeman  Feeling grateful but not expressing it is like wrapping a present but never giving. (William Arthur Ward) This week begins the thanksgiving holiday. Many of us are planning for family and friends, we are planning menus and schedules, and will be busy. Among the the hustle, we will pause and give thanks to God and count our blessings. One blessing we need to have at the top of the list in which we are thankful is the people God has brought into our life. Our lesson this morning comes from 2 Corinthians 8:16-24 where the Apostle Paul stops and expresses thanks to God for Titus.

If we are going to follow Jesus then a cross is the path. How can we become a cross shaped people? This morning we will explore this question and have Jesus’ answer challenge us.
