This morning, we will read and study from an encounter that Jesus has with an unnamed woman whose faith is life-changing and motivates us to seek the same faith.

This proverb speaks of being resilient in the face of adversity and challenges. What happens when the tough cannot get going? What happens when our strength has failed us or is failing us? How do we respond? We turn to a powerful passage that reminds us that our strength is found in the ‘surpassing power of God’.
