Uncomfortable: The Uncomfortable Cross
Aug 11, 2024 Elisha Freeman — A Christian author once said, ‘The identity marks of Christianity are not comfort or convenience but nails and a cross.’ This morning we embark on a two month sermon series entitled ‘Uncomfortable’. This is designed to help us see that God’s plan for us is to be conformed to the image of Jesus and that means we must embrace the uncomfortable truths and realities of being His disciples.” We begin with a look at the call of Jesus for us to pick up our cross and embrace certain ‘deaths’ that are required to be conformed to His image.
