We Agree on One Baptism

Nov 06, 2022 — Elisha Freeman    As we continue our series entitled ‘We agree’, we come to the subject of baptism. A subject that comes with many questions and some confusion. What is baptism? Why is it important? What does it accomplish? Is baptism worth giving time and attention? This morning we will seek out the answers to these questions as we focus on the ‘One baptism’ of the New Testament.

Would Anyone Miss It?

Oct 23, 2022 – Charlie Vasquez — The Great Commission says to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. While we hear and talk about the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is often neglected. Who is the Holy Spirit, where do we see him, and what does He do? Does the Holy Spirit impact our church and lives today?

We Agree on One Word

Oct 02, 2022  Elisha Freeman — This morning we embark on a three month series that is entitled ‘We Agree”. Unity among Christians in the local church is essential and vital. Unity was of such great importance that in John 17, Jesus prays for it. What exactly are we to have unity on? On what things must we agree? This morning we start the journey by focusing on God’s word that is known as the Bible.

House Rules: Welcome One Another

Sep 11, 2022 — Elisha Freeman  The Lord is adding to our family and for that we are thankful. God’s plan for the local church is to be in unity with one another but not to be in uniformity. How do we approach one another to ensure that no matter what we see or experience, everyone knows their welcome in God’s house? This is our question to explore and allow the Bible to answer in our quest to become God’s house that builds each other up.

House Rules: Love One Another

Aug 21, 2022  Elisha Freeman  This morning we are starting a series of lessons entitle ‘House Rules’. God has been adding to our number in a variety of ways: baptisms, babies being born, new members from those moving into the area, and new members from those seeking and finding a church home. With this growth comes the need for us to stretch and accommodate. To that end, what do we, as a church, live by to ensure that the purpose of the church is met? This morning our first house rule is: Love.

Lessons from Youth Ministry

May 22, 2022 — Charlie Vasquez  What are the pillars of youth ministry? What can we learn from teenagers about being better Christians? How can we be the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven? This morning, we look at how teenagers and youth ministry look a lot like the early church of Acts 2. We look at how the ministry of why, pie, and fly can impact us as much as teenagers and the early church.
