Jul 11, 2021 – Elisha Freeman — Israel hears the proclamation of Cyrus and returns to Judah. 50,000 Jews settle in their own place starting the process of picking up the pieces and setting down roots for their families. It would be easy to concentrate on day-to-day life along with its responsibilities. However, Israel reminds us that the Church is more than just our earthly families. This morning we will see how Israel intentionally gathers together in a specific place at a specific time for a specific purpose and how the Church should adopt the same mindset and practice

In this prayer Jesus makes a request for unity. If unity was important enough for Jesus to pray, it should be important to us to maintain.

This morning we turn our attention to a very challenging and familiar passage. A passage that emphasizes the need for humility to be embraced by all members of the church. If we can/will embrace humility, unity in the church can prevail and the mission of the church can be accomplished.
Mar 14, 2021 — Elisha Freeman — God creates unity in the local church through Jesus. Once unity is created, it becomes the responsibility of the members to maintain that unity. In the final chapters of the Roman letter, the Apostle Paul teaches how we can maintain this unity. We do so with the transformation of our mind and our commitment to love.
Mar 07, 2021 — Elisha Freeman — Christians everywhere in our country are at a crossroads. Our church is no different. The crossroads is that we can choose to allow the events (i.e. Covid, Masks, Social Distancing, the Election, Politics, and others) to shape our hearts and our attitudes and make us cold, cynical, uncooperative, create division, etc or we will can choose to have a heart that focused on Jesus, the way He lives, the love, peace, unity that is promoted. This morning we will focus on these and be challenged to have a heart and attitude that promotes the way of God in our church and in our life.
